The chemistry section of the NEET exam contains 45 questions, in which three sections of organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry would be obtained by aspirants. Physical and organic chemistry dominates the chemistry section, but there were a fair number of questions from inorganic chemistry last year. Therefore, not to neglect inorganic chemistry.

In organic chemistry the focus should be on GOC (General Organic Chemistry).

Including genetics, human physiology and plant physiology are the essential chapters one can concentrate on and do several revisions. Also, there are two figure-based questions in the NCERT book paper so that one can also concentrate on NCERT figures.

Practice from previous years’ question papers and sample papers of NEET Exam

One of the greatest problems of any entrance test is the time limit. The practice is important, not only for NEET but for any successful test. Candidates have to answer 180 questions within 3 hours of time. That means they can only devote 1 minute to every question. Time management skills are also essential to the NEET Exam. Candidates will practice NEET sample papers and question papers from previous years to improve their speed and accuracy. Furthermore, solving previous year question papers would give them an idea of the problem level complexity and chapter-wise weighting of the exam. Through solving mock papers, they can also examine their weak and strong areas

Focus on weaker Section

A student can be strong in one subject, and relatively weaker in another, but with that, they should not be demotivated. They should t focus on those parts they are weak, and take advice from their teachers and friends if they find it difficult. Candidates should solve NEET sample papers and question papers from the previous year to examine their weaker areas and devote more time to those sections. By this they will overcome their fear of weakness and gain confidence.

Mistakes that every candidate should avoid during their NEET exam preparation

Do not follow the time table: Candidates should strictly follow the timetable for their NEET Exam preparation.

Hectic schedule: Candidates should not follow any hectic schedule or study for a long time as this may affect their retention and fatigue development.

NCERT Ignoring: Almost 70% of the questions come from NCERT textbooks, and candidates should not avoid NCERT books.
