AL-Farabi Kazakh National University

AL-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) is a foremost institute of the system of higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was the first to pass the state certification and which has justified its right to understand academic activity on all specialties and at all levels.

AL-Farabi KazNU is the spearhead of the Overall ranking of the universities of Kazakhstan, which was the first laureate in the history of the country of the Presidential award of the Republic of Kazakhstan “For achievements in the area of quality”. Our university, being a member of the International Association of universities and the Co-founder of the Eurasian Association of universities, was the first among the universities of Kazakhstan and countries of Central Asia. It has successfully passed the international certification on the correspondence to the system of quality management (SQM), the requirements of international standards ISO 9000:2000 and has acquired the certifications from the largest global certification centre’s – the International Certification System IQNET.

The University has a massive educational, scientific, spiritually educational, advanced and production prospective which is aimed to the training of specialists of the highest qualification, further integration into the global educational space, development of fundamental and applied research, their implementation into production.

About Faculty

The university entails of 16 functioning faculties, 67 departments, 32 scientific research institutes and centres, a techno-park, more than 2000 professors, doctors, scientific candidates and PhD’s, more than 100 academicians of the largest academies, more than 40 honoured of the Republic of Kazakhstan. However more than 18000 students and masters at the multilevel system of higher professional education study in the university.

Information for International Student

To get admission student has provided the following documents:-

1. Copy of passport (along with original return after checking).
2. 10th and 12th Mark sheet duly apostil.
3. Conclusion of educational contract (if not yet concluded).
4. Notarized translation of passport and certificate transcript in to Kazakh or Russian in 3 copies.
5. HIV certification report indicating the absence of HIV infection.
6. Medical Certificate 086-U.
7. Six photos of size 3x4 cm.
8. NEET score card duly passed.

Student Service Centre is a modern student service centre providing over 500 socially substantial, educational, medical, social, cultural and freedom services on the principle of one window.

Educational and educational services are represented by the following services: Registrar's office (the entire history of students' academic achievements, knowledge control and calculation of its academic rating, registration for disciplines).

Medical services The main concentration is to provide a wide range of transmission examinations for students as well as university faculty.
