It has been recorded that there is a significant rise in the ratio of medical aspirants appearing for NEET and almost 18.72 lakh aspirants will be appearing for NEET and since 2021 there is a remarkable rise of over 2.5 lakh aspirants out of which, 8.07 lakh are male candidates and 10.64 lakh are female candidates as per stated by the NTA.
This cut-throat competitive examination will be conducted in 13 different languages and among the aspirants who have registered this year for the pan-India exam, 910 are Non-Resident Indians, 771 are foreigners and 647 are Overseas Citizen of India card holders who will be facing the most challenging time in their lives.
The ratio of medical aspirants appearing for the exam in English language is on the higher side followed by the national language Hindi and then Tamil. The admit card date for the NEET UG 2022 is not yet released and is expected in few days and only then the aspirants can locate their centres once they are announced.
In the year, 2021, the NEET- UG was conducted on 12th September and almost 95% of the registered aspirants have appeared for it i.e., over 15.44 lakh aspirants had appeared for the exam which was held at 3858 centres and almost 8.70 lakh aspirants had qualified on this examination and every year the ratio of aspirants appearing for this examination is on the rise.

The importance of NEET can be understood by taking into an account of the number of NRI’s and foreigners appearing for this examination as the admissions in any Indian medical university is completely depended on how well the aspirant has performed on it.
