NTA NEET 2020 COVID-19 ADVISORY

The National Testing Agency(NTA) is conducting the NEET (UG) Exam on 13th September 2020. Yesterday the honorable Supreme Court declared that the exam will not postpone. It will be conducted on the decided date. Over 8 lakh students already download there admit card. The NTA NEET 2020 COVID-19 ADVISORY issued the guideline for the safety of candidates.

These guidelines are categorized into 3 parts-

  1. Measures and control before the exam
  2. Measures and control at examination centers.
  3. Measures and control after the exam

Measures and control before the exam

  • Aspirants are only allowed to carry personal stuff – admit card, mask on face, gloves, personal transparent water bottle, hand sanitizer (50ml).
  • Maintain social distancing and follow other instructions related to COVID-19.
  • The staggered time slot for the aspirants reporting at the examination Centre – to be printed as ’Slot’.  For example, 11:00 AM- 11:30 Am.
  • Queue and rope to be placed in a way so as to funnel aspirants within the roped area.
  • Loud hailer will be used to call the aspirants as per their time slots.

Measures and control at examination centers

  • Maintain social distancing among students and staff.
  • Maintain all inventory for students such as – hand sanitizer, extra gloves and mask, disinfectants, and thermal scanner for every entry, classroom, building floor, washroom, and corridors.
  • Sanitize entire examination centers, floors, and walls, gate, and doors for the safety of students and staff.
  • The aspirants' seating area will be sanitized both chair and desk.
  • Sanitizer bottle will be available at every entry gate, rooms, server room, registration desks, staff room and etc.
  • Disinfect all washrooms.

Measures and control after the exam

  • After the exam aspirants need to seat and wait for the instruction from the invigilator.
  • At the time of exiting the examination, hall aspirants have to handover the duly-filed admit card of NEET 2020 and the OMR sheet to the invigilator.
  • Aspirants must dispose of their gloves and masks outside the examination Centre in the pedal push bin.
  • Follow the social distancing at the time of leaving examination.
