Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has started registration for NEET UG counseling round for stray vacancy toady at their official website http://www.mcc.nic.in Through NEET-UG stray vacancy round, 2463 vacant MBBS and BDS seats in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Delhi University (DU), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), deemed universities, and Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC)will be filled. NEET MBBS/BDS counseling for the stray vacancy will be conducted in an offline mode by the respective central/deemed university. Now the last date for MBBS admissions is extended by National Medical Commission (NMC), the new date is 15 January 2021.
Candidates who were unable to get any seats in previous NEET UG counseling rounds and the candidates who have already applied for MBBS/BDS medical seats under previous counseling rounds will not be allowed to appear for this new counseling round.
After closing the registration, the MCC will prepare the merit list of candidates who registered for the stray vacancy round. Candidates included in the merit list will be 10 times the number of vacant seats. MCC will forward the stray vacancy round merit list to the respective institutions on January 7, 2021. Candidates included in the merit list will be required to report to the respective MBBS institutions between 7 January to 15th January 2021 for offline seat allotment. The session of UG medical courses will commence from 2nd February 2021.
