NTA released safety plan and admit cards for JEE (Main) and NEET exams

The Ministry of education said that the exam will not be postponed. This year can't be wasted for the students who are seriously preparing for JEE Main and NEET UG 2020 Exam said by the supreme court. Many parents and aspirants want to conduct the exam as per the scheduled time as any further delay will demoralize the aspirants who are waiting for this exam.

The Supreme court dismissed the plea for postponement of NEET and JEE(Main) examination and said that any further delay in this exam would result in a waste of “precious year” for the aspirants who are seriously preparing for this exam. Justice Arun Mishra said that even the courts are functioning during this pandemic than the examination could also be conducted with proper safeguards in place.

National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the JEE(Main) and NEET(UG) 2020 on the schedule dates. JEE(Main) would be conducted between 1st to 6th September and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG (NEET) would be conducted on 13th September 2020. NTA has released a detailed guideline for the safety of students and staff. Take a look below.

NTA safety plans to Conduct the Exam: -

  • NTA has released the admit card for JEE (Main) exam and the admit card for NEET-UG 2020 will also release soon.
  • NTA has ensured that more than 99% aspirants get their first choice of exam center.
  • The examination centers have also been increased from 570 to 600 for JEE (Main) and for NEET (UG) centers increased from 2546 to 3843.
  • JEE (Main) is online (computer-based test) and NEET (UG) is offline (pen paper-based test).
  • The number of shifts has been increased from 8-12 for JEE(Main) and aspirants reduce from 1.32 lakh to 85000 per shift now.
  • For authentication in the exam centers, there is no thumb impression would be taken, complete videography would be done.
  • 50% of Invigilators will be assigned to work inside the examination room and rest are assigned to monitor the outside the gate and registration room.
  • Every examination centers have extra gloves, masks, sanitizers, spray bottles, etc. for candidates and staff.
