On 15th December, 2022, the NTA has announced the dates for some upcoming major examinations that will be held in the year 2023.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by the Ministry of Education (MoE), as an independent, premier, specialist, autonomous and self-sustained testing organization under the Societies Registration Act (1860) which conducts entrance examinations that are efficient, transparent for admission or fellowship in higher educational institutions.
It will also be responsible for conducting the examinations for recruitment to various posts in various departments of the Government of India. The NTA will be responsible for the end-to-end process of the examinations, from the initial notification of the examination, to the declaration of results.
The NTA will also be responsible for the overall maintenance of the security, confidentiality and integrity of the examinations. It will also be responsible for the maintenance of the database of the applicants and their results. The NTA will also be responsible for the publication and dissemination of the results and other related information.
The exam calendar includes the dates of the entrance examinations for various courses such as National Eligibility Test (NET), Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) and others.
Moving ahead, the NTA (National Testing Agency) has released the exam calendar for the academic year 2023-24 wherein the schedule of some major examinations can be checked and downloaded from the official website nta.ac.in.
The exam calendar also includes the dates for the admission process for various universities and institutions across the country. The exam calendars also include important dates for the release of application forms and admit cards for the examinations. Candidates can check the exam calendar to know the important dates and plan their preparation accordingly. Candidates are advised to check the exam calendar regularly for any changes.
Candidates can apply for the JEE (Main) – 2023 through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). The application process will start from the first week of December 2022 and the last date to submit the application form will be the last week of January 2023.
It has been decided that the JEE (Main) 2023 will be conducted into two sessions i.e., Session 1 (January 2023) and Session 2 ( April 2023) and the admit cards for the same will be released in the last week of December 2022 for the first session and in the first week of March 2023 for the second session.
The examination will consist of three papers – Paper I (B.E/B.Tech), Paper II (B.Arch./Planning) and Paper III (B.Sc./B.Voc). The results of the JEE (Main) – 2023 will be announced in the last week of February 2023 for the first session and in the last week of May 2023 for the second session.
